Family and Toddler Christmas Minis!

Below are all 4 of my family Christmas mini set ups! These four set ups are the only 4 set ups I have that will work for families. Below you will find dates and times for each set up as well as photos and outfit suggestions. Read threw and check out each set up to decide which set up you would like to book.

Photos on a USB
Every client who books will have an in studio viewing of their photos. There is no online viewings the only option is to come back to the studio for an in person viewing. At your viewing you will have the option to order custom Christmas cards and ornaments. You will also get your photos on a USB with a print release.
Editing times - I am guaranteeing everyone a viewing before December 1st. The earlier you do your session obviously the earlier you will get in for a viewing. I will put up a edit list on my Facebook business page so you can follow along where you are on getting in for a viewing. Sneak Peeks will only be showed if you allow it. Some clients like to keep their photos a secret till cards go out so I will ask everyone if they want a sneak peek or not.
To book: Once you have decided which set up you want to do just message me which set up and which time slot you would like. I will be answering emails in order of time they come in. I HIGHLY SUGGEST messaging me through Facebook since my email is slower. Facebook.com/Ohanaphotographyas. Once you hear from me letting you know it's still open I will ask for a deposit of $100 through Paypal. I can send an invoice for you to pay with a card online if you are unfamiliar with Paypal. If you want to pay half or in full you can I will write down whatever you pay!! Then once you have paid the deposit I will update this blog post and put your name under the date and time. Before your session like a month or so before I will send a Christmas planning, helpful information and tips! I have a feeling I am going to be flooded with bookings for a couple days after these go live so I will be doing planning's in Sept!

Covid Safety
For those concerned I am more than happy to wear a mask for your session. That will be part of the Christmas planning questions. Sessions will be 30 minutes long but stacked an hour apart. That time gives me 30 minutes to wipe any used props down, spray sanitizer and reset up for the next session. Which means you CANNOT BE LATE!!!! That extra time is for cleaning and resetting for the next clients. It also allows for clients to not be entering and exiting the studio at the same time.
Younger kids- For those of you with kiddos under 4 I give the same little speech every year. I know as mom's we all want those PERFECT Christmas cards where everyone is smiling and happy. However with Covid I have found that kids have been A LOT more clingy to parents then normal. They are scared, especially if you are not in the photos. I am going to try my best to get them to smile. I have puppets, snacks and even toys! So I will do my best but also please just understand if your kiddo has not been around strangers in a long time this can be a little scary sitting in front of me in a new place and asking them to smile. Which is why I suggest for the little kids something like the bed or kitchen set up. Both are very interactive. I also will send over with the Christmas planning my tips and tricks for a awesome session with young kiddos!!
Winter Wonderland
This is the largest Christmas set up! It is perfect for families with multiple kids! I would say max would be 8 people! This set up is PERFECT for families who are going for mal look or an outdoor look! I will run the snow machine for a little bit at the very end of the session if the kiddos want! Please keep in mind the snow machine is very loud but I only run it for a little bit if wanted. This backdrop you can stand in front of or sit on the bench I have. If you choose winter hats and jackets then I think sitting in the snow would be cute too! Well behaved dogs are welcome. Everyone from dogs to kiddos and parents need to have clean shoe bottoms!
This backdrop would not be good for very young kids without parents. I do not recommended it for kids under 2 alone. As for outfit colors to avoid white unless your breaking it up with a jacket suspenders or someone is holding that kiddo!! White is about the only color I do not recommend. If you want to go really formal I think gold would look really pretty on this backdrop! Guys could do vests or suspenders, gals in dresses. If you wanted to do pea coat or felt jackets I think this set up would be gorgeous as well as winter hats. Keep in mind we will be in studio though so light felt jackets with not a ton of lining will be the best. Puffer vests would also be really cute.

Christmas Cabin
This backdrop is great for families with less than 5 people. Keep in mind the more people you have the less of the backdrop you are going to see. This is a AHMAZING backdrop for siblings! I think it would be adorable for a family with 3 kiddos, one who is pretty young and can be in the sled I think would be so cute for this set up! I will run the snow machine if wanted towards the end of the session. The snow machine is pretty loud, please keep that in mind with younger kids. This backdrop you can stand in front of and sit in front of. The sleigh I have is perfect as a prop as well as for kids under 2 to sit in! Well behaved dogs are welcome. Everyone from dogs, to kids to parents need clean shoe bottoms!
This backdrop would not be good for large families. As for outfit colors to avoid dark brown and maybe even black might not stand out so I would not recommend. This set up will have a actual Christmas tree on each side and a couple more additional cute props.

Can you say buffalo plaid! I think plaid would be so cute for this country cabin. I also think winter jackets and hats would be really cute in this set up too. Keep in mind you are in studio so thin felt coats are best! But adorable jackets, hats and scarfs would be fun!!! Christmas Kitchen
This set up is one of my personal favorites! This set up is interactive and really fun for kids who are wiggle worms or have a hard time staying still! Older kids will be given a small frosting bag and can frost and take home a cookie as well as eat a cookie on camera. This set up will have a couple more props added to it like more cookies, frosting, and a couple more Christmas items. This backdrop is great for pretty much any age. However those kiddos who are sitting on the table my under 2 kids will need a parent either hiding behind the table holding them or if parents are in the photo with them holding them. This set up is perfect for a family of 4 and kids only! I would not do more than 4 people in this set up. You can, and everyone would fit but the table is the perfect length for 4 people. I think this is an adorable sibling set up and perfect for parents who want candid and fun photos for their Christmas card!

This set up won't work for families larger than 4. Outfit colors to avoid really nothing is off limits but I probably would not do cream or white. However if you really want to I think we can make it work! Dogs would probably not be great for this set up. If you are holding them then it could be possible but I think all the cookies and items would be a crazy distraction!
This set up will have more Christmas shaped cookies, a fake hot coco mug with whip cream and and possibly a couple cute little props to add to it!

Christmas Bed
(Everyone will get a window snow fall video for Facebook. These were a hit last year)
This set up was HUGELY popular last year! This is the perfect set up for those wiggly 2 year old's! If you have a kiddo who has a hard time sitting still this set up is your best bet for Ahmazing photos! It's very unformal, there is tons to do, read a book, tickle fights, jumping on the bed! This year I am using a queen size bed so we can fit 2 parents and about 3 to 4 kids. This set up is also perfect for just siblings!
This set up will not work for families larger than 5 or 6 people. Outfit colors to avoid WHITE and Cream. I do not recommend at all! Stick with your traditional cute Christmas pj's. Unfortunately since this a blow up bed no dogs for this set up.

Toddler Christmas Minis
Set ups for my kiddos under 2!!!
Hot Coco Minis
These minis are perfect for kiddos who are sitting on their own and I would guess to say up to age 2. However depending on your kids age you could always come out to the studio and we can see how they fit. But I would say its best for kids ages 1 and 2! The younger kiddos who can sit on their own under 1 yr look adorable just kind of small in the big cup! But I will make sure to have them supported with extra towels!
All you have to bring to these sessions is your kiddo and a swim diaper if you do not want them to do the session nude. The cup is filled with warm water ( you decide the temp) as well as hot cocoa and large marshmallows. The studio has some headbands however feel free to bring your own!!

I did 16 kiddos in this cup last year and only one kiddo hated it! Most kids adored the water and eating the giant marshmallows!

Winter Door Minis
This set up is perfect for one kiddo under 2! They can play in the snow, sit in the sled and just get some adorable Christmas photos! This set up is perfect to show off a cute winter jacket and hat!!
